Deal commission ledger

each deal's margin, split between the people on it

Each row is a signed deal. Margin is the monthly PP commission it generates. Each named participant takes their agreed % of that margin; whatever's left is company profit. A deal or an individual line can be restricted so only named people see it — everyone else's totals silently exclude it. Won offers push here automatically. Everything flows into Finance and the Commissions roll-up.

Notification rules

who gets alerted about each type of event

Toggle an event on/off, then choose the audiences. Everyone overrides the rest. Owner = the person the item belongs to (case owner, merchant's rep). Participants = people on the case/deal (voters, commenters, split members). Changes apply immediately to new events.

Sales raise a case for a solution we're missing — the market, expected volume and target pricing. Product prioritises and moves it across the board (drag a card, or open it). Everyone can vote and comment. Drag cards between columns to change status.

Write up meetings as they happen — who attended, what was discussed, and the action items that came out of it. Summaries are shared with the team and fully searchable. Click any row to open or edit it.

Net growth leaderboard

ranked by net accounts (wins minus churn), not gross wins. The vanity trap is exposed here

Click a BDM to open their full performance breakdown. Churn rate is the hero metric: gross wins mean nothing if the back door is open. NRR (net revenue retention) weights by account size, so losing a big merchant hurts more than a small one.

⚠ Risks

automated commission-decline monitor

Scans the last 6 months of commission per merchant and per payment solution (acquirer). Flags a month-on-month drop, a sustained multi-month slide, or a fall from peak — whichever is worse — and suggests where to look first. Nothing here auto-resolves; management reviews and dismisses each flag.

Offer log

every offer, newest first

Take rate on each offer is the blended rate you're proposing (bps of monthly volume). Mark an offer Won when the merchant signs — it can then be pushed straight into the merchant book with its rate. Won/lost outcomes drive the closed-won take rate KPI above and the conversion stats per BDM.

🆕 Merchants live since January 2026

A merchant is counted as new for 2026 if it wasn't live in December 2025 or earlier. Revenue is the Net Commission to PP (actuals once submitted, projection for the live month). The 5% override is calculated on this revenue.

🗂️ Business verticals

Verticals drive the vertical picker in Reporting and the filter in New Merchants 2026. Adding one makes it immediately available everywhere. A vertical currently in use can't be deleted until its merchant lines are reassigned.

⚠️ Detected signals

Each signal can be assigned an owner, moved through its lifecycle (Open → Investigating → Actioned → Dismissed) and discussed in its comment thread. Click any signal to open it. Actions are logged to the Activity tab. Signals re-detect on every visit, but their status, owner and comments persist.

🛡️ Two-factor authentication policy

👥 Per-user two-factor

authenticator status & recovery codes

Recovery codes are one-time backups for a lost device. A user can view/regenerate their own; the Super User can reset anyone's 2FA (forcing fresh enrolment).

🧩 Roles & section access

tick the sections each role can open — changes apply to every user with that role
Tick sections to grant them to any role. The Super User role always has full access and is the only fixed role. Admin is fully governable: the Super User can grant it any area — including the owner-level ones (Roles, Security & New Merchants) — and Admin only sees the tabs it's granted. Those three areas can't be granted to any other role. Deleting a custom role moves its users to Sales.

Ask about anything in the portal — merchants, payment solutions, commission, projections, risks or your team. PAI reads across every section and takes you straight there.
